Antique Blue & White Porcelain Covered Urn

Blue and white hand-painted Chinese covered urn. Beautifully graceful shape!

Approximate size:  8 inches wide x 9 inches tall.

This covered pot is approximately 150 year old (the Qing dynasty).  It is from Canton.  

The main design is of chrysanthemum blossoms and foliage, a symbol of winter in Chinese culture, one of the "four gentlemen."  The lid depicts fruit bats, a symbol of good fortune.
